Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of residents.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Implement behavior management techniques as necessary to support residents with special needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Utilize EMR systems for documenting care provided and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
- Drive residents to appointments or community activities as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care practices is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and other mobility assistance devices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
