Role Overview
As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll plan and execute marketing campaigns that promote to, educate, engage, and support nonprofit professionals. The role offers an exciting opportunity to create, manage, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing initiatives that enhance Auction Packages’ visibility, engagement, and growth. The Digital Marketing Specialist will take ownership of email marketing, social media, SEO and SEM strategies, and other internal marketing projects while working with a high degree of autonomy. This role is responsible for developing and implementing digital campaigns across multiple platforms, creating engaging content, and supporting promotional efforts while analyzing marketing data to inform strategic decisions and overseeing website content creation and performance. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with other members of the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging to maximize the impact of marketing efforts across channels. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with a strong grasp of digital tools and trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, create, manage, and optimize all email marketing campaigns, promotions, and segmentation within HubSpot
- Lead social media strategy and execution, including content planning, daily posting, engagement, and analytics reporting with a content calendar focused on thought leadership, lead generation, and client retention
- Manage paid social advertising on LinkedIn and Facebook, optimizing for engagement and conversions
- Develop and execute SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and performance analysis
- Regularly audit and update web content to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility
- Analyze campaign data to report on performance, ROI, and opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with internal marketing, content, and sales teams to align messaging and goals while ensuring brand voice, tone, and compliance standards are maintained across all platforms
- Write and edit compelling marketing copy across various channels: social, email, and internal templates/snippets
Qualifications
- 4 years of digital marketing experience (preference given to applicants with experience in nonprofit, travel, fundraising, or mission-driven sectors)
- 2 years of HubSpot experience; certifications are a plus
- Proficiency in graphic design using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Details
Work Location: Remote. The ideal candidate must have full access to high-speed internet and a computer.
Schedule: Full-time. Monday-Friday. 9am-5pm EST
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
