Overview
Audacy has an immediate opening for a Digital Sales Specialist to support our northeast media sales teams and managers. The position is hybrid and requires availability to report to one of our NE offices for team days in person and as needed for training needs.
The Digital Sales Specialist will expect to be a SME in our programs, processes and product offerings.
The Digital Sales Specialist must be analytical, organized, solution minded, consultative and customer centric.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Support Media Sales Teams and Managers on target and grow prospect lists, digital research and audits, strategic plans and sales training among staff as new programs and processes are rolled out.
- Identify and generate digital sales opportunities to grow digital revenue while working and supporting in market DSMs as needed.
- Able to multi-task with a high degree of time management and organizational skills, this individual is capable of looking ahead and managing client needs with precision planning and anticipation.
- Recommend specific digital products to support the different areas in the “sales funnel” and fine tune proposals to present to clients.
- Lead digital sales trainings educating the local sales team on Audacy’s digital offerings and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications
Required & Preferred:
- 2 years sales related experience preferred
- 2 years digital marketing experience preferred
- College Degree preferred.
- Proven success in building client marketing campaigns by utilizing digital platforms(Search, Social, Display, Video)
- Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing
- A creative mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs
- Strong problem solving skills - you’re someone who identifies a problem as an
- Opportunity to improve processes
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and
- Google Workspace Products
- Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective Communicator
- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
Experience in the following programs/areas are a plus:
Advisr, WideOrbit, Meta, Google Ads, Google Sheets, Pivot Tables, SEMrush, Placer.ai, MediaRadar, Canva

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting salary range for New York-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $64,200-$73,000/yr.
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
