Audibel Hearing Aids is locally owned and operated. We’re a small team who knows our patients by name, keeps things simple, and focuses on straightforward, attentive care.
As the Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients and a steady presence at the front desk. You’ll support daily office operations by welcoming patients, managing scheduling and phone calls, and assisting the specialist so appointments run smoothly.
Schedule & Location
This is a part-time position, typically averaging 24–28 hours per week, with a consistent weekly schedule across multiple offices.
- Monday & Wednesday: Tuscola office, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: Off, with the potential to provide coverage as needed
- Thursday: Casey office, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: Arthur office, up to 8 hours, based on office needs
Weekly hours are generally expected to fall within the 24–28 hour range. There may be opportunities to fill in at other sites for additional hours, as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients in a warm, professional manner.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily front-desk activities.
- Verify insurance information and process payments accurately.
- Maintain patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Support the specialist and help keep appointments running on time.
- Keep the front desk organized, steady, and efficient.
What You Bring
- Experience working at a front desk or in a customer service role.
- Associate’s degree preferred, especially for candidates interested in growing into technical and specialist roles over time.
- This role requires regular travel between multiple work locations. Candidates must have reliable transportation to meet scheduling and coverage needs.
- Comfort learning new systems and software.
- Strong organization and consistent follow-through.
- Clear communication and a calm, patient-focused approach.
- Ability to handle front-desk responsibilities independently after training.
- Interest in learning the hearing healthcare field, with openness to expanding responsibilities and pursuing future Hearing Instrument Technician and Specialist pathways as experience, licensure requirements, and business needs allow.
