We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be proficient in various low voltage systems. Must be willing to work in both an individual and team environment.
*Duties*
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems such as security alarms, video surveillance, and access control systems.
- Detect and troubleshoot issues using tools like voltmeters
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of wiring and equipment
- Configure computer networking equipment related to low voltage systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks
- Perform cabling for data, voice, and video systems
- Set up intrusion detection systems (IDS) and ensure their proper functioning
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with low voltage systems is required. Experience with product lines such as Honeywell, Resideo, DSC, Qolsys, DMP, 2Gig, Dahua, Speco, ICRealtime, HikVision, and any other similar manufacturers is required. We are looking to grow this segment of our business need someone knowledgable in various systems. Must be willing to both participate in installations and train other team members on the various sytems.
