Busy audiology practice is seeking an experienced, reliable, and enthusiastic full time patient care coordinator for our Glen Burnie office located right off route 100, Monday through Friday. .
Current hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. By mid summer the hours will return to the normal hours for the practice which are 8:30 - 5:00.
Must have at least 3-5 years experience in a medical office setting. Must be experienced in Microsoft Word. Must have have excellent phone skills, enjoy working with the public, and be a team player. Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot computer issues, printer issues, scanner and other office equipment issues on site.

Responsibilities:
- High level front end administrative assistant duties
- Coordinate day to day activities of the office
- Verify patient health insurance benefits for hearing aids when needed
- Provide for the smooth flow of patients through the practice, including ensuring appropriate follow-up
- Scheduling
- Digitizing paperwork
- Offer friendly, courteous assistance to every patient to ensure a positive, professional experience
- Assist the audiologist with marketing activities when needed
- Maintaining the appearance of the office (cleaning and organizing)
- General office duties
Requirements:
- Independent, motivated, self-starter
- Possess a friendly, positive and professional attitude
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills to service a diverse customer base
- Strong knowledge of computers
- Experience with Microsoft Word an google products
- Ability to troubleshoot office equipment
- Must have the ability to work independently in office with just yourself and 1 audiologist
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong knowledge of all health insurances - Commercial and MCO plans

COVID-19 considerations:
Audiology Associates, Inc continues to require masks be worn by staff. Patients are given the choice currently unless the PCC or Audiologists feels at risk. The office is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day by the staff and audiologist.
