Job Overview

As a Fund Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the performance of investment funds, assisting in the development of investment strategies, and providing insights to support fund management decisions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in finance and a keen interest in fund management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance and risk profiles of various investment funds, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds.
• Conduct research on market trends, economic conditions, and investment opportunities to support fund strategies.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on fund performance, including performance metrics, attribution analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assist in the development of investment strategies and portfolio construction, including asset allocation and security selection.
• Monitor fund holdings and investment positions, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and investors.
• Collaborate with fund managers and analysts to assess the impact of market developments on fund performance.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of fund activities and performance metrics.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA designation or progress towards it is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in fund analysis, investment research, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and investment software.
• Solid understanding of fund management principles, financial markets, and investment products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data to stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
