Health Services Manager

Job Description

As a Health Services Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of healthcare services within our organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead, supervise, and support a team of healthcare providers and administrative staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Operational Oversight: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services. Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Budget Management: Oversee the budget for the health services department. Allocate resources effectively, manage expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance: Ensure that all healthcare practices adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and standards. Stay updated on healthcare laws and regulations and implement necessary changes.
• Quality Improvement: Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Collect and analyze data to drive improvements and report findings to senior management.
• Patient Care: Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints. Ensure that patient care is delivered in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, healthcare providers, and external organizations to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic goals and objectives for the health services department. Participate in long-term planning and decision-making processes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience in healthcare management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
