GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Financial Aid Representative – Continuing Students is responsible for assisting students in navigating the setup of aid to help cover their tuition, as well as monitoring their progression throughout their program. This consists of, but is not limited to, guiding students through relevant applications, recalculating eligibility, and counseling students on how eligibility changes may affect their finances.
Daily responsibilities on the Continuing Team vary, as tasks shift with the student’s lifecycle. At times, it is application-heavy; at others, processing, recalculating, and auditing take on more of a priority.

- Ability to quickly reconcile a ledger

- The ability to explain more complicated situations in a way that is meaningful for the student

- Show promptly for scheduled meetings and calls

- Foster an engaged working relationship with institution counterparts
- Other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent, Associate degree preferred
- Prior financial aid experience of at least 3 years
- Communication Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Time-Management Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Team-oriented
- Coachability: Being receptive to feedback, willing to learn, embracing continuous improvement
- Ethics: Has personal and professional ethics and fosters a diverse and respectful workplace.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
