Production & Warehouse Associate
Location: Jackson, MI
Compensation: Starting wage is $20.21 per hour
Schedule: Availability to work two weekday 12-hour shifts and one weekend 12-hour shift. Must be able to work varied hours, schedules and nights. May-September may be adjusted to add a Friday 12-hour shift during our busy season.

Position Summary:
As a Utility Worker at Aunt Millie's Bakeries, you'll play a pivotal role in both production and distribution. specializing in our production line where you'll be integral to the oven and mixer operations, as well as monitoring products on the line. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in other aspects of our operations, such as accurately picking, packing, and loading bakery products for shipment.
Essential Job Functions:

Production Operations: Operate machinery and equipment integral to the production process, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machines, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to production schedules.

Ingredient Management: Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes and production schedules, ensuring consistency and quality in the finished products.

Baking Expertise: Execute tasks like mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking dough to produce various baked goods, including bread and rolls, maintaining product standards.

Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process closely to ensure product quality and consistency, conducting regular quality checks on finished items to verify compliance with company standards.

Packaging and Labeling: Package finished products for distribution, meticulously labeling and sealing packages to prepare them for shipment to customers.

Sanitation Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to uphold a safe and sanitary production environment, following established protocols and procedures.

Warehouse Operations: Assist in warehouse tasks such as accurately picking, packing, and loading bakery products for shipment, utilizing warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Quality Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of products for quality and integrity, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.

Warehouse Organization: Support the maintenance of a clean and organized warehouse environment, including tasks such as sweeping, organizing shelves, and disposing of waste materials.

Inventory Management: Communicate effectively regarding inventory levels, product shortages, and operational issues to supervisors and team members, contributing to efficient inventory management practices.

Flexibility and Adaptability: Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors to support the overall operations of the distribution center, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:
