Job Description: Are you a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist looking for a contract opportunity in Pueblo, CO? Join our team for a 13-week assignment and enjoy guaranteed hours and competitive pay. Make a meaningful impact on patient care while earning up to $44 per hour based on your experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certification in accordance with the requirements of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Licensed by the State of Colorado.
- Ability to perform tasks safely, including lifting, turning, and transporting patients.
- Ability to perform minimal assist transfers (lifting and controlling 50 pounds).
Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
