With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently searching for an Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Superintendent to join our team at our Sidney Plant in Sidney, OH.What you will do:
- Develop and execute the plant’s CI road map and Lean Annual Plan in alignment with corporate goals
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring timeliness, quality standards, and cost control
- Mentor and lead cross-functional CI teams, including Green and Yellow Belts
- Facilitate Kaizen events and “fresh eyes” reviews to identify and implement process enhancements
- Use Lean tools and statistical software (e.g., Minitab) to track, analyze, and report production and CI metrics
- Maintain CI documentation and oversee timely administration of the Auria Production System
- Train staff in Lean principles, SOP’s, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Procurement teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
- Monitor budgets, inventory, and resource usage to support efficient operations
- Enforce safety standards and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to drive alignment and engagement
- Support CI activities in sister plants and promote best-practice sharing enterprise-wide
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning in response to evolving production demands

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proven, effective, and consistent leadership skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, just-in-time, team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of the TS16949 and ISO14001 standards
- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule, across three shifts and including the weekends
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and consistently
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and multitasking abilities
