Now in our 18th year, Authority HVAC provides HVAC and refrigeration services to the country’s top retail, hospitality and retail chains. We work inside shopping centers, power centers, indoor malls, outlet centers, and some of the industry’s most famous shopping destinations.
As an HVAC Purchasing Agent, your role is to work closely with distributors to purchase various HVAC and refrigeration, materials, and equipment necessary to complete projects. You will be responsible for ordering materials based on the Purchase Order and following the company guidelines.
Duties of the HVAC Purchasing Agent:
- Identify and purchase material, ensuring the Company’s ability to meet production needs.
- The Purchasing Agent focuses on materials acquisitions, assessing and management of key suppliers, fulfilling internal orders and developing/maintaining pricing spreadsheet.
- Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria
- Interviewing vendors and visiting suppliers’ facilities to learn about products, services and pricing.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company.
- Verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive or irrelevant products
- Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
- Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
