Job purpose
A behavioral health services provider is seeking to partner with a qualified EEC Director to help start a daycare line of service that will focus on caring for children with special needs.

Duties and responsibilities
• Lead state licensing and national accreditation processes, including annual reporting and achieving positive results
Participate in hiring and training staff who will anchor the daycare program
Develop policies and procedures as per EEC guidelines and in accordance to best practices in daycare program management
Design and implement strategic initiatives for the program and support the agency's strategic plan and direction
Establish instructional goals, and work to build relationships with teachers, families, and community partners
Implement EEC's rules and regulations for early education and care in large group settings, as well as the Autism Allies staff handbook's policies and procedures
Stay current on the Department of Early Education and Care's laws and protocol in order to stay in compliance with the EEC
Design and implement enrollment process and financial performance for a program with room for expansion in the classroom
Design and implement program systems, including training and technical assistance, program policies and procedures
Design and implement employee improvement and development plans for individual staff members
Qualifications
• Masters' degree in Early Childhood Education, or the equivalent in a combination of education and experience
• EEC Director I or II Certification
• Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience directing an early education program
• Proficiency with Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar
• Must have completed the COVID-19 vaccination process or have an approved exemption

• Bilingual skills a plus

Working conditions
