Job Title: (BT) – Lunch Coverage

Job Summary:
We are seeking qualified, dedicated, and compassionate professionals to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children aged 2-7 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position specifically involves lunch coverage for the team, relieving staff members during their 30-minute break while still maintaining direct intervention and support to clients. Hours for this position are typically 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, but may vary depending on the daily needs. Complete hours are not guaranteed, and lunch breaks for staff may extend beyond the usual timeframe based on scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 therapy based on Reggio-inspired ABA principles while covering lunch breaks for team members.
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans as directed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Monitor client behaviors, provide support during daily activities, and collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed, including documentation and data entry.
• Ensure that all clients continue to receive high-quality care during lunch coverage hours, which may go until 2:00 PM, depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to adapt to changing daily needs, including varying hours for lunch coverage, and respond to client and team requirements promptly.
• Strong communication orally and written and organizational skills.
• Punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and team members is essential. Must be able to manage breaks and coverage schedules with attention to detail.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback from supervisors and apply necessary actions.
• Must be physically and emotionally capable of managing challenging or aggressive behaviors on a daily basis.
• Immediate family members of clients attending therapy at our clinics are ineligible for hire.

Hours:

• Primarily 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, but may vary depending on staff lunch schedules and daily needs. Complete hours are not guaranteed.

Note: This position requires flexibility as lunch coverage may extend until 2:00 PM to ensure all team members have a break.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide ABA therapy to children ranging in age from 2-7 years. Training in ABA will be provided!
• Ensure that all clients continue to receive high-quality care during lunch coverage hours, which may go until 2:00 PM, depending on staffing needs.
• Implement behavior plans written by a BCBA.
• Complete daily progress notes and documentation.
• Organize materials and maintain equipment as necessary.
• Provide and implement daily feedback.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Professional and supportive interaction with parents and/or guardians.
• Contribute to a fun and positive environment.
• Ensure that children are safe and that their every day needs are met through diapering, dressing, grooming, helping with toothbrushing and feeding.
• Dressing children appropriately for outside play.
• Utilize the 3-step cleaning process and wipe down surfaces every hour.
• Model and encourage good social skills!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
