Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Thank you for your interest in the full time RBT position that we have open. The position does require RBT certification within 30 days after your RBT 40 hour training. The current positions are for in-clinic under the supervision of a BCBA. The benefits include the following:

• Medical/Dental/Vision for full time staff
• 16.00 an hour before certification for in-clinic if needing a RBT certification and training, and start at 17.50 an hour for a certified RBT that is under 1 year experience
• Pay up to 21.50 an hour dependent on experience and current RBT certification.
• IRA contribution after 6 months of employment for full time staff with company match.
• 5 days of PTO at hire, and another 5 days at 6-month competency for full time staff
• Paid Holidays for full time staff
• Schedule is 9-5 Monday-Friday

RBT: Registered Behavior Technician
Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide in-home and community behavior analysis services
• Implement behavior support plans
• Assist with functional behavioral assessments

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma (Some college preferred)
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass the RBT examination within 180 days of 40 hour training and competency assessment.
• Must attend 40 hours of training by the BCBA, before working work clients.
• Must pass a competency assessment that includes:
• Implementing continuous measurements (frequency, duration)
• Implement discontinuous measurement procedures (partial and whole interval)
• Implement permanent product recording procedures
• Enter data and update graphs
• Conduct preference assessments
• Assist with functional assessment procedures
• Use contingencies of reinforcement (e.g. conditioned/unconditioned reinforcement, continuous/intermittent schedules)
• Implement discrete-trial teaching procedures
• Implement naturalistic teaching procedures (incidental teaching)
• Implement task analyzed chaining procedures
• Implement discrimination training
• Implement stimulus control transfer procedures
• Implement stimulus fading procedures
• Implement prompt and prompt fading procedures
• Implement interventions based on modification of antecedents such as motivating/establishing operations and discriminative stimuli
• Implement differential reinforcement procedures (DRO/DRA, etc).
• Implement extinction procedures.
• Implement crisis/emergency procedures according to protocol.
• Generate objective session notes by describing what occurred during sessions.
• Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly.
