What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Autism Institute of Minnesota?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in the field of applied behavior analysis
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professional boundaries
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Expertise in behavioral therapy techniques, including functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning
- Competency in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Proficient in the application of applied behavior analysis principles to address behavioral challenges and promote skill acquisition
Note: Board certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required for this position.
