The general pay range for this position is $21-25 per hour based on experience. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market considerations.
The hours of this position are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Summary of Position:
The Inventory Coordinator interfaces with Auto Warehousing Co. management, trucking company agents, Ford plant representatives to ensure that each vehicle meets customer standards before it is shipped by truck or rail and ensures the correct vehicles are shipped to the correct destinations.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Tasks:
- Daily coordinate the movement of special vehicles, such as "hot vehicles" or damaged vehicles, between the manufacturing plant and storage, rail, and truck-away yards
- Daily complete physical vehicle inventory of trucking yards by checking each vehicle's VIN against daily inventory sheet.
- On a daily basis, respond to trucker's report of damaged vehicles,
- On a daily basis, use customer forms to document damaged vehicles
- On a daily basis check and work all vehicle diversions.
- Coordinate and collect shipped truck paperwork from guard service for processing by AWC staff.
- On a daily basis check and answer all emails.
- On a daily basis answer office calls and handle accordingly.
- Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Update system with vehicles leaving or arriving at facility as ordered and coordinate with Level II on ASN's and drop zone.
- Daily, compare CAP WARENET, AMPS and VIPS inventory.
- Facilitate plant returns when the plant requests that one or more vehicles be returned to plant for a re-work. Complete all appropriate paperwork for vehicle to return to plant. Ensure security guards are aware of the returning vehicle so they will open the gate. Enter return to plant in inventory system and change location once plant has acknowledged receipt of vehicle.
- Inform our customer of damaged units that need to return to plant for repair (i.e. dead batteries, flat tires, etc.) or units that will be returned to AWC from plant after repairs are completed.
- Conduct and close a full facility inventory weekly and reconcile in AMPS.
- As needed, arrange for Ford shipment of special truck units such as vehicles being towed out of facility for repair or show vehicles going to special events.
- As needed, assist truckers with learning yard layout and finding lost vehicles
- Adhere to safety procedures

- Must be able to obtain e-RailSafe clearances.
