Auto Body Shop Manager Position
An established dealership is seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager to join our team!
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
- Examine damaged vehicles and estimate repair costs
- Train, develop, and motivate the Body Shop staff, monitoring employee performance
- Forecast and achieve goals and objectives for the Body Shop
- Ensure excellent customer service to promote customer satisfaction
- Maintain daily sales and production records as required by management
- Develop and manage department budgets, keeping management informed of deviations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters
- Foster good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Handle customer complaints promptly and respectfully
- Maintain regional CSI scores
- Ensure proper repair techniques and safe, functioning shop equipment
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA
- Achieve Body Shop goals
- Demonstrate core values in interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
