PBE Technical Specialist

The PBE Technical Specialist provides technical support in the promotion and sales of PBE products and equipment. This includes supporting stores with PBE goals and inventory controls, providing training to store employees and customers on various PBE products, equipment and techniques.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provides technical support in the promotion and sales of PBE products and equipment and assists in achieving PBE division goals.
• Develops and maintains growing relationships with collision center accounts and introduces new products, services and equipment to customers to meet established sales goals.
• Ensures customer service concerns are addressed with collision center accounts and managed to conclusion.
• Keeps up to date and educates others on PBE techniques, product knowledge and equipment and participates in continuing education offered by APH and manufacturers within the PBE field and attends sales meetings as required.
• Provides store support by establishing and meeting PBE division goals and PBE product inventory control.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 year degree or certification in paint and auto body from a recognized institution.
• 5 years’ experience in the paint and auto body field focused on subject matter knowledge of PBE techniques, equipment, products and services.
• Collision Painting and Refinishing Certified.
• Considerable experience with PBE customer service, sales and support.
• Experience training others in the PBE field.
• Proficient in the use of various computer programs such as Microsoft Office and account management software.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic business concepts and is familiar with store operating procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate whether written or verbal with all types of customers as well as, vendors, visitors and employees at all levels of the company.
