Job Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineers/ Senior Site Reliability Engineers to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, automate infrastructure provisioning and self-service integrations to help internal teams or customers. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure using AWS.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth delivery of applications.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for reliability and performance.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our infrastructure.
- Ensure security best practices are followed and compliance requirements are met.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills:- 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, ELK stack, or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (ISO-27001, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is a plus.
- Should be willing to work in rotational shifts and rotational week-off's
- Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Educational and Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
