Schedule:

Monday through Friday only

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:
-
Warranty Registration: Process new vehicle warranty registrations with manufacturers in an accurate and timely manner
-
Warranty Cancellation: Handle warranty cancellations, ensuring proper documentation and processing for customer refunds or adjustments
-
Dealer Statements: Review and reconcile dealer warranty statements, verifying accuracy and addressing any discrepancies

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of warranty claims, registrations, and cancellations
-
Ensure compliance with warranty terms and conditions, both from manufacturers and dealership policies
-
Provide support to customers, answering questions about warranty coverage, cancellations, or other inquiries
-
Work with internal teams to manage warranty claims processing and status tracking

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure that dealer statements are properly recorded and reflected in financial reports
-
Provide regular updates to management on warranty-related activities and dealer statement reconciliations
-
Reconciling accounts: Reconciling the company's accounting records and bank statements
-
Preparing monthly tax returns: Preparing and filing monthly sales tax and other business returns

Managing property tax payments
-
Management over cancellation processes with growth opportunity into a leadership role

Month end accounting tasks as needed

Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. They should also be proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Excel

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as internal controls like payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Ethics Adherence to ethical financial practices, especially client confidentiality

Effective math skills to identify accounting errors, analyze numerical data, and compare figures
-
Strong organizational and time management skills

Intermediate to advanced excel knowledge
Skills & Experience:
-
Ideal candidate will be working towards accounting degree or equivalent
-
1 year(s) experience is a plus, but no prior work experience required
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or working toward accounting related degree
