Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Dietary Technician :
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Works closely with the Dietician and Nutritional Services Director to meet the dietary needs of the residents.
Meet with residents to collect dietary preferences.
Enter data into computerized traycard system
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS :
1. After training, must have a basic knowledge of the computerized traycard software program. Must have good observation skills to ensure trayline is correct. Must have basic organization and communication skills.
2. P rior experience needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB :
1. Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
2. Stands and walks short distances most of the working day
3. Frequently bend, stoop, crouch, balance, twist and extend arms and / or reach overhead.
