We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. The ideal candidates must be professional, personable, and caring with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to take direction and be a team player. We value quality patient/client care and impeccable service.
As a Medical Assistant you will support the medical staff through a variety of tasks related to patient care. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):
Taking vitals.
Explaining treatment procedures to patients
Preparing patients for examinations / treatments
Transmitting prescription refills as directed
Drawing blood
Administrative Duties (may include, but not limited to):
Using computer applications
Answering telephones
Greeting patients
Updating and filing patient medical records
Scheduling appointments
Arranging laboratory services
Taking medical histories
Education/ Requirements :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant - Must provide proof of Medical Assistant diploma - Willingness to learn various procedures provided by clinic - Must be available to work on Saturdays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
