Purpose of Function:
AvaDent is a growing Digital Denture technology and manufacturing company expanding its acrylic puck manufacturing department. We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our 2nd shift (12:30pm - 9:00pm).
You will prepare materials and operate precision molds and hydraulic presses to cast the AvaDent acrylic denture pucks.

Function Requirements: (education, experience, competences, etc)
The Puck technician should have a high school degree or equivalent. Computer skills are required. Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions and using equipment, preferably a press and measurement tools.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities/Authorities
Main Tasks:
- Review production orders and/ or work-order notes as appropriate to verify correct specifications
- Prepare materials per specifications
- Load press and process per specifications
- Maintain all history logs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Alert Manager of any repair needs of other areas of concern with regard to the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Assist in manufacturing processes as directed
- Assist in engineering processes as directed
- Perform a variety of tasks to support the day to day operations of the business
