We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Resource Specialist to join our team and help connect clients with the resources they need to achieve their goals.
Position Overview
The Resource Specialist will work closely with clients to identify and access community resources that align with their individual needs and goals. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of local services, and a client-centered approach. The Resource Specialist will also provide transportation to and from essential appointments, such as job interviews, medical visits, and housing services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources, including housing, employment, healthcare, and financial assistance.
• Provide transportation for clients to and from appointments, job interviews, and other necessary services.
• Work collaboratively with Case Managers and advocates to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and track client progress.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and service providers.
• Educate clients on available resources and assist with applications for services.
Qualifications:
• Experience in social services, case management, or a related field preferred and a High School Diploma.
• Strong knowledge of local community resources and services.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
