Avalon Care Center Honolulu has an opening for a Part Time (up to 20 hours) Dishwasher
Varied Schedule: Scheduled 3 days 6:15a-2:45p or 4p-8p
$18.29-$20.63/hr
The Dishwasher performs dish-washing and other cleaning duties to ensure residents dining needs are met in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards.

Responsibilities Cleans dishes, glassware and silverware by machine. Scrapes food from dishes prior to washing. Segregates and racks dishes to spray with water. Removes food and small papers and runs them through dishwashing machine. Must be aware that wash and rinse waters are at proper sinks for washing pots and pans. Removes trash from dietary area and brings down to dumpster. Cleans working area. Pours hot beverages and places on trays according to diet cards. Delivers carts to floors. Adheres to universal precautions and sanitary and infection control policies and procedures. Ensure that food and supplies are available for the next meals and assist in inventory and storing incoming foods and supplies. Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and incidents Minimum Qualifications
Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and to work cooperatively with other employees. Must maintain regular attendance. Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry. Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
