Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration & Support:
- Work under the guidance of team members to support company goals and help solve design challenges
- Assist with the creation of organizational processes and workflows for mass-customization in architectural manufacturing
- Problem-Solving & Design:
- Develop simple, elegant solutions to geometry and data-related challenges
- Support the automation of shop drawings and documentation workflows to improve efficiency
- Tool Development & Integration:
- Create interoperability between project files and digital tools
- Contribute to the development of parametric models, tools, and automation scripts using Rhino and Grasshopper
- Digital Fabrication:
- Engage with emerging technologies and digital fabrication techniques to optimize design and production processes
- Assist with the implementation of data-driven workflows and support multi-disciplinary design efforts
Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Rhino/Grasshopper for parametric design and scripting
- Understanding of digital fabrication and the application of computational design methods
- Experience with design software, data manipulation, or mass customization workflows is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- A growth mindset with the willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and technologies
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or Python is a plus
