What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Washer position at Avalon Transportation LLC?
Position Overview:
The Bus Washer ensures all vehicles meet the professional appearance expectations of the company.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean the exterior and interior of all buses, including, but not limited to: Exterior, interior, floors, seats, wall, ceilings and door jams
- Removes any graffiti or spots before vehicle goes out into service
- Brings any mechanical repairs needed to the attention of the Maintenance Department
- Removes any out dated materials from the bus and replaces any in bad condition
- Assists drivers, dispatchers and supervisors to ensure timely AM pullout
- Maintains clean wash area
- Maintains a list of supplies needed to perform duties
- Performing other duties as assign by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of vehicle parts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to fluently speak, read, and write English
Physical Qualifications:
- Must use manual dexterity and body coordination to perform various tasks
