Job Description

Business Consultant / Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Manufacturing, preferably in the Automotive or Mortgage Finance domain. This role requires working with clients on large-scale transformation initiatives, supporting business requirement gathering, solution design, and functional implementation across the IT lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Relevant experience as a domain consultant, business consultant, business analyst, or an industry practitioner in manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong domain experience in the Automotive or Mortgage Finance industries.

• Deep understanding of the end-to-end value chain from Originations to Servicing and Termination.

• Demonstrated ability to apply industry best practices across multiple functional areas to solve complex business problems.

• Experience with product/package architecture, configuration, and implementation to meet both business and non-functional requirements.

• Proficient in advanced analytical methods to diagnose issues and understand business impact.

• Experience leading and facilitating discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT stakeholders.

• Exposure to effort estimation processes, including converting requirements into sizing information.

• Hands-on experience in:

  • Functional testing

  • Use case development

  • Test scenario documentation

• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Ability to work as an individual contributor or lead junior consultants on client assignments.

• Proven ability to:

  • Define business/process models

  • Document business and functional specifications

  • Provide domain expertise and functional solutions

• Experience supporting sales pursuits, including leading business/functional content.

• Participation in functional model discussions, design pattern evaluations, and solution planning.

• Strong leadership in implementation planning and functional solution delivery.

• Thought leadership experience, including creating internal knowledge assets and external whitepapers.

• Experience conducting business workshops, defining requirements, and elaborating functional specifications.

• Ability to contribute to account strategy and unit-level initiatives.
