Quality Coordinator Opportunity
We currently have an opening for a Quality Coordinator

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for plant product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Lead all quality improvement activities (internal and customer)
  • Manage and develop the quality system
  • Responsible for audits and documentation requirements (internal, third party and customer)
  • Direct plant quality staff
  • Train and develop plant staff in the use of quality tools and methodologies
  • Manage and develop customer relationships
  • Perform as resident expert in problem solving tools, process management, measurement techniques and statistical analysis
  • Maintain and report key quality metrics
  • Develop plant COQ (Cost of Quality) metrics and tracking methodology
  • Champion continuous improvement activities plant wide
  • Validate and assist in the development of verification and error proofing practices
  • Other duties as required to support the plant, and corporate quality initiatives

    Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 7 years of Quality Management or Quality Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 – 2015 and QMS
  • Experience with the APQP system
  • Quality Certification (CQE, BB, CMQ/OE, lead auditor, etc.) desirable
  • Knowledge of IATF quality system
  • Demonstrated ability in using problem solving methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presenting and the ability to influence all levels of staff.
  • Sense of urgency and an overall customer satisfaction focus.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office suite of software, especially with use of Excel.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
