Regional Operations Manager based in Hartford, CT to support our 4 New England operations. Our New England operations is looking for an experienced individual with knowledge in the Final Mile Delivery Industry. This individual should be a team player and energetic with prior management experience.
About the Position:
- Oversee a 7 day warehouse & distribution network
- Understanding of different types of logistics (warehousing, final mile delivery and pallet distribution)
- Manage a structure of employees in warehouse / administrative / driving
- Responsible for financial performance of the region
- Develop and launch strategic organizational initiatives
- Voice of company for day-to-day communication with customers
Requirements:
- Proof of Identity and Authorization to Work in the United States
- Proven track record of managing warehouse, administrative and driver employees
- Knowledge in managing P&L
- Experience in implementing new processes in an organization
- 2 to 3 years of knowledge in dispatch and final mile delivery
- Knowledge of the tri-state area, specifically CT and MA is a must.
- Excellent Computer, Verbal, Written and Communication Skills
- Effective in managing teams
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a constant changing environment
- Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team environment
- Friendly, Courteous and Positive Attitude
Job Duties:
- Oversee drivers and internal staff with day-to-day operations
- Manage P&L
- Meet KPI expectations
- Manage overall schedule of drivers and staff
- Manage fleet
- Customer day-to-day point of contact
- Manage overall operations, including training of new staff
- Assist in ensuring drivers are following proper SOP's
- Assist in resolving delivery issues, or providing solutions to delivery issues
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 bonus structurentied to KPIs
