Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Overview: Avanti Window and Doors is a busy, rapidly expanding plant and we are looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator who can operate a forklift and someone who can lift materials as well.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must have experience operating a forklift or please don't apply
- Must be able to lift 40lbs alone
- Must be safe and exhibit the ability to be a self-starter and work under deadlines.
- Ability to comprehend receiving paperwork
- Ability to do basic math
- Loading and unloading with forklift
Experience:
- Be at work on time every day
- Problem solving skills required, willingness to learn
- Communicate professionally with team members and management
- Consistency complete day to day tasks
- Construction and warehouse experience preferred but not required
Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience
Monday- Thursday 6am-5pm
Pay $18.00 to start
Paid weekly and paid training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
