Job Summary
Under limited supervision, perform warehouse operations such as loading/unloading trucks, stacking bags, handling product, palletizing, etc. Document all completed work and recording inventory data; utilizing scanners/computers as necessary. Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of warehouse operations and promote teamwork. Operate forklifts and hand carts. Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Mentor less-experienced peers and assist supervisors, but does not formally supervise others.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
Act as a contact point between supervisor and warehouse associates.
Lead the daily task assignments associated with processing all daily picking, packing and shipping of finished product and miscellaneous shipments.
Lead the daily task assignments associated with all daily inbound receipts and processing of all raw material receipts
Prepare and or oversee the raw material physical labeling, sampling, inventory data sheets; supplier status sample size and units to be sampled based on the supplier index and number of units received
Examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established Work Instructions, SOP’s and customer requirements
Preparation and or oversee of labels to received product and for new labels required for expiration extensions or transfers between warehouses
Support production requests for products required by specific SOP’s and batch records.
Prepare and or oversee on routine documentation (i.e., Bill of Ladings), hazardous material packaging and paperwork as is required by common carrier and material being shipped
Coordinate and or oversee on international shipment paperwork as required by each customer. Communicate with forwarder to arrange shipment, paperwork, and pick up of material at our dock
Ship and or oversee with miscellaneous shipping order preparation in support of all non-inventoried product, packages, and paperwork
Coordinate and or oversee all special shipping requirements and packaging by quantity of product to be transported
Enter inventory/adjust inventory locations in the computer system. Check physical location to ensure inventory accuracy.
Assist and maintain in our cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy.
Train warehouse associates on material handling equipment (i.e., fork lift, pallet jack, etc.) using proper safety procedures.
Train all warehouse associates on shipping, receiving and warehouse daily processes.
Monitors and ensures necessary logs and charts are completed and accurate for all warehouse documents as required by SOP’s
Work closely with internal departments to assure commitments to customers are met in a timely manner
Maintain adequate levels of packaging materials, shipping supplies, and consumable store room supplies
Assist in repacking or labeling of chemicals
Actively prepares for and participates with internal and/or customer audits
Assist in writing of SOP’s, Work Instructions and NCR’s
Maintain all warehouse areas in a clean and safe condition always
Ensures compliance with cGMPs, SOP and Work Instructions
Perform all duties of a Warehouse associate
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Minimum 3 years of warehousing experience, ideally in a cGMP manufacturing environment
Industrial powered equipment experience required
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Understanding of metric system measurements is beneficial.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER: Skill and ability to type. Skill and ability to operate a computer. Skill and ability to organize and prioritize work. Skill and ability to meet deadlines and operate office equipment. Skill and ability to use Microsoft office tools and company software.

The physical requirements of the job are for associates to talk, hear, bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb height, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 75 pounds with or without assistance. Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating as well as both feet for repetitive movement operating foots controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

$50,000.00 - $83,000.00
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
