- Maintain inventory levels of medical and non-medical supplies.
- Order, receive, and distribute supplies while ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Track supply usage and adjust ordering to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Work closely with nursing and administrative staff to fulfill supply requests promptly.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all supplies to maintain compliance with facility regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and update supply records accordingly.
- Collaborate with vendors and negotiate pricing to maintain cost-effective purchasing.
- Assist in budget management for supply procurement.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines when handling medical supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in central supply, inventory management, in a skilled nursing facility required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and transport supplies as needed.
- Familiarity with medical supplies and equipment is a plus.
- Proficiency in inventory tracking software or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
