Job Summary:
- Acts as part of the Care Team and represent the first point of contact for the patient by greeting patients and families and assisting them with the services provided at Avera Medical Group Mitchell.
- Coordinate the flow of patients through managing phone calls, schedules and assisting providers and nurses with various clinical responsibilities as requested.
- Schedules appointments, check patients in, verifies demographics, corrects time of service receipts or refers to patient accounts.
- Will rotate with other registration and scheduling staff to cover urgent care shifts on evenings and weekends.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- One to two years related experience preferred.

Schedule: Full Time, Varied Shifts, 6:30am-3:30pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-4pm; 11am-6pm; 80hrs/2wks
