Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position in our FVH Therapies department for a Physical Therapist (PT) with an emphasis given to sports rehabilitation/coverage. The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients using a variety of techniques according to established standards of care.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists. Reviews patients' functional needs and adjusts care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provides comprehensive patient treatment including but not limited to therapeutic exercise and manual techniques to promote healing, mobility, and return of functional activity.
- 40 hours per week 8:00am-5:00pm; community athletic events attendance; rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program.
- Must pass the National Physical Therapy Exam administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
- Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist license.
- CPR certification and Iowa Mandatory Reporter training are required as an employee.
