The salary range for this position is between $105k and $130k.
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience. The company also currently offers a Long Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) of 15% base salary, annual performance bonus target of 15% base salary (subject to meeting plan requirements) and comprehensive health benefits (employer funded), unlimited vacation time and 401k plan (subject to change or modification from time to time).
Position Summary
A Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for managing Averitas’ Inbound Logistics, Customer service and last mile distribution operations in the US markets, managing logistics relationships with 3PLs, customers and local service supplier
s.The role of Supply Chain Operations Manager is an essential business partner that ensures compliance with corporate strategies and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Ensure the reliability of the receiving, warehousing, ordering, shipping and invoicing processes and execution of product allocation to meet market' requirements and company KPI targets, leveraging internal and/or external service teams
- Manage contracts, relationships and activities with 3PL, including allocations, phase-in, phase-out, identification & resolution of service issues being accountable for interfaces and 3PL master data
- Coordinates all verification and order fulfillment activities, ensures proper customer administration and maintains logistics and distribution relationships with customers by pursuing GDP procedures
- Development of short-and-long range strategic product distribution plans to encompass both current and future growth
- Key facilitator and interface for acquisition of state distribution licenses
- Collaborate with other stakeholders for activities such as deviations, complaints, recalls, returns and destructions and being responsible for execution of related Supply Chain activities
- Define, reconcile, and control Warehouse and Distribution costs
- Developing strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining high quality standards for products or services offered
- Manage all operational and local market regulations of inventory management, in both in-house and outsourced management, in coordination with other stakeholders
- Support and contribute to proper execution of sourcing tenders in order to select the best service provider (e.g., 3PL) based on price and quality of services offered
- Support Artwork changes and new product introduction (NPI) readiness processes in collaboration with global/local teams, both internal and external and being responsible for execution of related SC activities
- Nurture and support continuous improvement and efficiency by exploiting technological and process innovations
What you bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
- 5-10 Years related experience. Preferably in pharmaceutical distribution
- Experience managing 3PL’s, Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers
- Six Sigma, and Project Management are desirable
- SAP systems knowledge
- The ability to travel up to 25%, including overnights as dictated by business need and attend all company sponsored events/meetings/conferences.
