What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piano Technician position at Avery Piano co?
Avery piano co is taking applications for a full-time piano technician in our Providence, Rhode Island location.
As an established piano retailer with over 98 years of service to Rhode Island. Our mission is to provide quality products with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Requirements
This position will require 3-5 years of experience maintaining pianos at an optimal level. ( tunings, action regulation, and refurbishing, voicing, repairs)
Completion of a recognized program as a piano technician (ex. Steinway technical academy, north bennet street school)
Membership to ptg
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication,
Experience with Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai and other major brands.
Some offsite customer tunings and services required
Player piano experience and training with qrs, Pianodisc, disclavier, ( not required )
Woodwork experience, touch up. Repairs., refinishing, and polyester buffing and repairs
