Job Summary:
Maintain raw materials, keeping records current in SAP
*
Monitor 16 silos, keeping them full for four production lines
*
Monitor railcars for inventory accuracy
*
Supervise truck/railcar unloading to insure accuracy and quality
*
Enter data in SAP
*
Assist with receiving at front dock, receive from UPS, FEDEX, and other vendors, as needed
*
Arrange waste pickup and recyclable pickup, as needed
*
Coordinate deliery and usage of bagged resin
*
Coordinate monthly raw materials inventory
*
Reviews Raw Material Supply Chain Issues with cross functional teams to ensure accurate inventory.
*
Quality - Ensures quality by continually watching for any abnormality and reporting it timely
*
Safety - follows company procedures and uses material and equipment per manufacturers' directions
*
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Employee must have a two year degree in related field or a combination of education and experience. Additionally, he/she must possess good problem solving skills, basic math skills, along with good interpersonal skills. Working harmoniously with co-workers while exhibiting a "can-do" attitude is critical to success. Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a somewhat frequent basis.
Environment:
Work area is a manufacturing environment which is not climate controlled year round with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud requiring hearing protection.
