Grill Cook, 1st Shift

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook, 1st Shift, Full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with NO evenings and NO weekends.

The wage for this position is $18/hr.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables and other foods
• Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing
• Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
• Manage food inventory
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion

• Culinary experience preferred
• Exceptional food presentations skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
