The Fighter Pilot SME will provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment during DMO event execution.

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Provide subject matter expertise to support DMO Operational Training events
• Conduct mission briefing, execution and debriefing and post mission documentation
• Coordinate with Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel for Event Control Center (ECC) set-up
• Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provided basic trouble shooting support.
• When not directly supporting DMO events, other duties include will include the following:
• Attend scheduled academics, meetings, and other training.
• Provide academic support (briefings, instruction, etc.) as coordinated with DTOC Training Coordinator.
• Support other Operational Testing & Training Infrastructure activities defined by the Government.
• Support will be required on some Air National Guard (ANG) Drill weekends.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. 
• Current or previous fighter aircraft pilot or weapons system operator with current (within the last five years) robust air-to-air background.
• Current or previous Instructor or evaluator.
• Minimum five years operational air-to-air experience.
• Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade TS

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Three years’ experience conducting training in a DMO environment
• Current or previous USAF Fighter Weapons School or Top Gun Graduate
• Knowledgeable in 5th Gen fighter employment to incorporate into daily customer mission catalogs and part of SME academics program.
• Experience with environment generator software to include Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) and Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE)
• Top Secret Security Clearance
