Part-time Description

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Overtime
• Must have Weekend availability
  
  

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Check Blood Pressure and pulse Rate twice daily
• Use the power Hoyer Lift Transfers to transfer the patient to bed, couch, wheelchair, or commode chair.
• Assist with the dressing and undressing of the lower body (street clothes, underwear) from the waist down, including prostheses, orthotics, belts, pants, skirts, shoes, fasteners, compression socks/stockings etc.
• Straight catheterization every 4-6 hours (training will be provided)
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Assist with the use of the toilet or Commode, assist to clean after toilet uses or incontinent episode(s)
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion and have an appreciation for friendly small farm animals
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Active CNA license (Required)

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
