What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Technician position at AVIR, Inc.?
AVIR has positions available for AV Technicians. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have immediate openings! We are located in Palm Desert, CA.
What we are looking for:
- Experience with the installation, service, troubleshooting of audio/visual components, General installation, to include pulling cable in floors and ceilings, dressing cable in racks, termination of coax, audio and LAN cables. Mechanical experience in mounting to walls and ceilings equipment such as flat panel monitors, speakers, projectors and screens.
- Experience working with Crestron home automation systems, Multi zone music systems and home theater projections systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment with A/V project manager and other technicians.
- Conduct face to face meetings with customers.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize within a demand-driven environment with competing priorities.
- Self-Starter.
Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years installation experience.
- Excellent computer and communication skills required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Clean DMV record.
- Reference check required.
