What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position at Avita Health System?
Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or designee, provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Performs laboratory procedures to provide information for the diagnosing and monitoring of medical treatment. Maintains all chemistry analyzers and provides training to others on proper procedure.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
