We have an immediate opening for an adaptable individual who possesses working knowledge of basic mechanical principles at our Auburn, New York facility.
As a General Laborer basic functions will include but are not limited to:
- Wash and dry parts as necessary to prepare for shipping and downstream operations.
- Polish, tumble, and debuur parts as required.
- Unload and stow raw material.
- Prepare scrap material and chips for resale.
- Operate saw and deliver raw materials to proper work center.
- Coolant maintenance.
- Preventative maintenance of shop equipment.
- Snow removal and general groundskeeping.
- General shop cleanliness and upkeep.
- Light repair of equipment, including coolant sump changes.
- The Plant Manager may assign other duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; or 1 - 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as periodic random drug screens.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Starting Pay: $16.50 - $17.00/hr. depending on experience plus shift differential
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 2nd shift hours: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
