AvtechTyee is searching for a Manufacturing Supervisor: with project management experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Lean and continuous improvement skills would be a real plus!

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Release and prioritize work orders to achieve production schedules, assigns work and estimates worker hour requirements for successful completion of job assignments while meeting delivery, quality, and cost metrics.

• Correctly interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders to works and effectively assigns duties

• Meet production schedules, efficiencies and utilization targets

• Recommend and initiate measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product within company guidelines

• Proactively work to improve working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, departments or work crew

• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems

• Accurately maintain time and production records

• Correctly and efficiently estimate, requisition and inspect material as required

• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments; successfully collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results

• Ensures the smooth transition of work between shifts

And you will have

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Management or Operations Management is required.

• Three to five years’ supervisory experience

• Experience in Aerospace or other regulatory industry with a machining or electronics focus is preferred

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

**Must be authorized to work in the U.S.**:

The wage/salary range for this role is $90k - $120k, depending on education and experience.
