Job Summary:
As an Account Manager for AVW, your primary responsibility will be managing the day-to-day relationship for a specific customer base, delivering sustained profitable growth for AVW.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Account management will represent 75% of the employee’s time, with the remining 25% focused on business development.
- Act as primary point of contact for the day-to-day communication between customer base and AVW.
- Manage quoting and sale order processing.
- Create and execute customer specific plans to grow profit.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with customer base.
- Operate as an extension of the customer’s network facilitating speed, flexibility and fostering mutually beneficial solutions to solve business challenges.
- Work and coordinate cross functionally with peers in operations, purchasing, parts, fulfillment and accounting.
- Support and coordinate any RGAs.
- Participate in customer specific product development from inception to completion, providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide appropriate information, reviews, adjustments, and insight to customers to ensure on-time delivery of customer equipment/parts.
- Support and reconcile any open invoices with accounting.
- Create new customer acquisitions for an assigned set of targeted accounts, maintain accurate forecasting of prospect pipeline via HubSpot.
- Participate in sales and customer process improvement meetings to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Support AVW’s vision to be a world class car wash manufacturer, the industry leader and customers-centric manufacturing partner.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, notably in Engineering or another technical field.
- 3 years of experience in sales or project management.
- Ability to effectively manage data and understand analytics using a CRM / pipeline management tool.
- Travel may be required up to 10%
