What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Technician position at AW Collision?
Looking to hire immediately! Must be detailed oriented, dependable, and able to multi-task.
Some duties and responsibilities are:
· Disassembly and Assembly of parts on vehicles
· Ensure all needed repairs are identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
· Perform moderate to heavy body repairs
· Perform all levels of body, frame, structural and mechanical operations
· Repair and/ or replace collision damaged vehicle parts using accepted standard within the body repair industry.
· Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must have collision repair experience
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Ability to effectively communicate with others
· Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates and work orders
· Multi-tasking, adapts easily to fast paced environment
· Maintain a well-groomed appearance
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time during repairs to a vehicle
· Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl frequently
· Must be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
