Potential candidates should be prepared to spend at least one day in classroom training and multiple days in the field for onsite training at various locations.
These duties may include:
- Work as an undercover agent to prevent theft
- Detect and observe potential shoplifters
- Conduct apprehensions and recoveries as described in post orders
- Document incidents, report emergencies and contact appropriate authorities
- Utilize smartphone or tablet to maintain daily electronic reports
- Work closely with local law enforcement and provide detailed statements on theft cases
This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, and lifting. A portion of some positions may require sitting in front of a computer or monitor for periods of time.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Guard Card
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have reliable method for transportation
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills
- CCTV and knowledge of 6-step process of loss prevention
- Must have knowledge of theft prevention, conflict resolution, and de-escalation methods
- Excellent report writing skills
- Must be able to operate and maintain site specific security programs
- Must be punctual
- 2 Years loss prevention experience is preferred
